All kids 12 and under receive free admission and must be accompanied by a parent. Anyone over 12 is required to have a festival ticket. Camping is 18+ unless with a parent or guardian (NO EXCEPTIONS).
All kids 12 and under are free and do not require a ticket (they MUST be accompanied by a parent!)
All ticket sales are final. We do offer the option to transfer your tickets to someone else if you can no longer attend. You can reach out to help@grid.life for more information on how to officially transfer your ticket!
#GRIDLIFE is a rain or shine event, on-track as well as off-track activities will take place regardless of weather. Be prepared for hot days, cool nights and a chance of rain. Or maybe cool days and freezing nights, with 22 hours of straight rain, stranger things have happened. This is the midwest after all. No refunds will be granted due to weather.
We will have a number of food vendors at #GRIDLIFE this year including vegetarian and vegan options. There will be bars at the #AFTERGRID stage each night of the festival. No outside beverages will be allowed in the concert field. Anyone consuming alcoholic beverages purchased or brought may be required to go through ID check and receive a wristband verifying that they are of age.
Yes! The Box Office, GRIDLIFE Merch and GRIDLIFE bars will be card only (no cash!). Please come prepared!
Please plan to bring your own back up batteries and charging for digital devices.
We will have medical staff available 24 hours a day throughout the festival. If you have an EMERGENCY, find a staff person with a radio or go to the nearest security station.
Yes, we have 24/hr medical available on site. They will be located just outside the Festival Central entry gates into the campgrounds!
If it’s illegal outside of #GRIDLIFE it’s illegal inside #GRIDLIFE. The use of illegal drugs or substances is not permitted, it can ruin your weekend and the weekend of others around you. The safety of our #GRIDLIFERS is first and foremost so if you see someone that is in need of help please get help. Notify a staff member or our medical team. Our no questions asked policy means no one can get in trouble when seeking help.

Parking will be split into Drivers & General Attendees. Whether you are parking for the day or camping for the weekend, we have a parking team who will guide you where you need to go upon arrival!
DAY PARKING: Attendees who are coming for the day will be able to park in the Day Parking lot just west of the main paddock. If you are parking, you will need a Parking Pass! There is no camping allowed in the general parking lot and non camping spectators must leave the grounds by 1am each night. (You are not allowed to camp in your car.)
DRIVERS: The only attendees allowed to park in the primary paddock are FULL WEEKEND HPDE, TIME ATTACK, GLTC & DRIFT participants.
If you want to camp at the festival, we have a variety of options for you to choose from!
OPEN CAMPING: Turn 2, Family/Quiet and Back40 Camping Passes include access for 1 standard vehicle and up to 4 passengers.
RESERVED CAMPING: We changed things up this year and now offer reserved camping for all trackside spots (corrals, camping spots and XL/RV spots) and XL/RV spots. This allows you the option to pick the exact spot you want to camp in! If you have friends who want to join you on any of these spots, they will need a Reserved Camping Companion Pass.
LEARN MORE ABOUT THE DIFFERENT CAMPING OPTIONS HERE!
DRIVER CAMPING: The only attendees allowed to camp in the primary paddock are FULL WEEKEND HPDE, TIME ATTACK, GLTC & DRIFT participants. Each driver receives one paddock pass for their on track vehicle and one pass for their support vehicle (additional vehicle passes must be purchased).
As a reminder, camping passes are per vehicle. EVERYONE attending the event will require either a GA or VIP ticket (Drivers: your driver wristband includes GA access to the festival!).
RV'S and Campers are permitted at #GRIDLIFE and require either an RV/XL or Trackside RV/XL Pass for the weekend. RV parking is dry camping so there will be no water/sewer/electrical hookups in the RV area. Please bring enough gas and water for the weekend. There is a fresh water/dumping station located on the racetrack grounds. Not sure what qualifies as an RV? Read more about RV Camping here!
For drivers there is no additional fee for RV’s; however, there is an additional fee for space that extends beyond your available 12’x40’ foot space.
Yes! There will be restrooms and portapotties as well as a shower trailer. VIP attendees receive free showers, showers will be $5.00 for GA attendees.
All paddock spots will have space for your car and your camping gear. Unused trailers will not be allowed in the paddock after setup and must be placed in the boneyard for the duration of the weekend. Each paddock space this year will have a strict 12’x40’ footprint. If you are bringing an RV Toter or other large footprint you will need to secure additional space.
Any motorized vehicles such as scooters, "pit-bikes", quads/ATV's, etc are not permitted at the Midwest Festival. Scooters or motorized vehicles that are plated and have been used as primary transport into the festival, or as show vehicles, are allowed but must be driven at 10mph inside the venue. Any vehicles that are seen in violation of this rule may be impounded for the duration of the weekend. Bicycles, skateboards, swagways, etc. are all permitted. This is for your safety and the safety of your fellow attendees.
We Love Pups but for the safety of all attendees, pets will not be allowed at Midwest Festival!
The only vehicles permitted to be moving around the facilities in the primary paddock are driver vehicles. There is no pop up limbo or cruising the grounds permitted. Additionally, there will be no vehicle movement permitted after 12:00am unless you are leaving the festival grounds.
Exit and Re-Entry will be permitted for all #GRIDLIFE Attendees. However exit gates will only be open during non peak times to aid in speed of entry for those waiting to get into the festival. If you leave the festival you must wait back in line to re-enter. So If you leave to get supplies, Wendys nuggets, or Coke Zero please plan to car pool and limit your exit to non peak times.
We want you to have a good time and it's okay to get excited about #GRIDLIFE. But before you express that excitement, know what forms of expression can get you booted and banned. Burnouts, Revving, donuts in the grass, cooler smashing, neighbor harassing, S*it talking, fighting, thievery, excessive noise, banned substances, weapons, hot dog (or other) unapproved vending, late night 2 stepping, drinking while the track is hot, and excessive party fouls. Basically don't be a dummy.
ALL DRIVERS ARRIVING ON THURSDAY WILL BE REQUIRED TO GO TO THE REMOTE BOX OFFICE, located at the back of the Walmart Parking Lot, to check-in, receive their driver wristband and stage for load-in.
***PLEASE DO NOT LINE UP AT OR GO TO THE DRIVER GATE AT THE TRACK ON THURSDAY. YOU MUST GO TO THE REMOTE BOX OFFICE.***
Once you are checked-in, our team will let you know when we are ready for you to head toward the South Gate of the track! This helps us alleviate traffic lining up on the highway AND makes loading in at the track SO MUCH easier for you so please be patient while you wait at the remote Box Office.
WALMART ADDRESS: 201 73rd St, South Haven, MI 49090
The South Gate will open as normal on Friday morning for drivers planning to arrive after Thursday.
What days are we on track?
Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Where’s the schedule?
The Midwest schedule is bigger and more complex than any of our other events. Please make sure to read the Midwest Schedule page as well as the live motorsports schedule (the live scheduled is updated continuously before and during the festival). Click/Tap the EVENT SCHEDULE button below to view.
How soon can I get to the track to unload?
Please read the REMOTE BOX OFFICE information above!
What do I need to get into the gates? Where is my ticket?
You will need your TorkHub ticket (which is a QR code) to receive your wristband(s) at the Box Office and enter the facility.
To find your tickets: Login to your TorkHub account > choose MY EVENTS and your tickets will pop up! Crew Passes are NOT included with your Club Round Driver Ticket so if you purchase a Crew Pass, please be sure to assign it BEFORE sending your crew to the Box Office.
*If you need to re-assign a ticket, you can do so here as well. Just click ASSIGN on the ticket.
Do I need to pay to camp?
Your driver ticket to Midwest includes Paddock Camping / Parking. Each driver will receive roughly a 12' x 40' space. Midwest is our busiest and biggest event, so please note that driver space is VERY tight.
Your setup needs to fit within the allocated 12' x 40' space (this includes any crew that are part of your setup
Awning space is not guaranteed
Keep your setup as minimal as possible
Where is Tech & Registration? When are they open?
A Digital Tech Form can be found under TASKS in your TorkHub account (and also at tech.grid.life)
Check the schedule for Tech and Registration times!
Tech will be in the GRIDLIFE Garage located at the bottom of the timing tower - look for our GRIDLIFE signs! Competition Drivers (Time Attack) who have an annual tech sticker do not need to reinspect.
Registration will be held in the GingerMan Classroom (next to the Concessions/Gift Shop): If you need decals, numbers, banners - you will pick them up here.
PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO REGISTRATION TIMES. IF YOU MISS REGISTRATION ON FRIDAY NIGHT OR SATURDAY MORNING, YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL REGISTRATION REOPENS TO GET YOUR DECALS & TRANSPONDER RENTAL.
Where's the schedule? When are the driver's meetings?
View the Event Schedule here. Please be sure to note the MANDATORY DRIVERS MEETING FOR ALL DRIVERS as well as Tech/Registration times, and general motorsports schedule. The schedule may change throughout the weekend, so bookmark this page!
Fill out all forms in your TorkHub Dashboard!
We have moved all our driver forms to TorkHub. All drivers will find forms under their TASKS: Go to DASHBOARD > click/tap TASKS. You will see all required forms that you must have filled out prior to going to registration.
What about Crew Passes?
Crew Passes may be purchased via your TorkHub account under MANAGE CREW.
You can add a crew member here, then click/tap on that Crew Member and select the Event you are purchasing for. Click/tap PURCHASE to buy that Crew Pass! The Pass will be automatically assigned to your crew member's account. They will need to create/login to their account to redeem the pass at Box Office.
Crew Passes are $50 per pass and are limited! Competition drivers and drift can purchase 4 crew passes while HPDE can purchase 2 crew passes.
CREW PASSES MUST BE ASSIGNED PRIOR TO ARRIVING AT THE REMOTE BOX OFFICE OR THE SOUTH GATE.
If crew are joining you at your paddock space for the weekend, you can purchase a Paddock Support Vehicle for their car. This will give them paddock access and allow them to keep their car in your paddock space over the weekend (this does not give crew an additional camping/parking area, crew must be joining you in your existing paddock space).
What is a Paddock Support Vehicle?
A Paddock Support Vehicle is for additional vehicles that are occupying your paddock space.
Join our driver text list to receive live text updates during the event!
We will use our usual text update system to keep everyone up-to-date on all schedule changes. To subscribe to real time updates, text "Mwf23" no spaces to (844) 619-1994.
UPDATE FOR THIS YEAR: THE WEST GATE IS NOW THE 24 HOUR GATE. So if you need to leave after-hours and come back, you will need to go north through the paddock and out the West Gate!!
The West Gate does operate as a search point for spectators so please be aware that you will be searched upon re-entry into the gate, so don’t bring any prohibited items back into the festival (and take any tools out of your car prior to leaving).
This is for the safety of our patrons and of your cars — the paddock is going to be VERY tight this year. We don’t want spectators who are not familiar with the layout to be driving through it.
Below is an outline of everything for our HPDE drivers.
HPDE Sessions are SUNDAY only.
HPDE driver tickets include General Admission to the festival weekend and a paddock space
HPDE Paddock Area is a specific area designated for HPDE drivers arriving before Sunday (see below for more info)
HPDE tech is SUNDAY MORNING ONLY
HPDE drivers can purchase 2 Crew Passes
For any HPDE Drivers arriving before Sunday, you MUST park in the designated HPDE Paddock area! The main paddock is going to be very tight which is why we have a designated area for you to park. We will have a parking team onsite and signs to help guide you to the HPDE Paddock.
On Sunday, HPDE Drivers will have the option to move into the main paddock as people leave. If you are coming for Sunday only, you should be able to come through the South Gate and park in the main paddock.
HPDE Tech will be SUNDAY MORNING ONLY due to the high number of cars we will have in the paddock Thursday through Saturday. Please do NOT come through tech or unload your car if it is on a trailer until Sunday (for your benefit to move into the main paddock).
Does your vehicle need parts, tools or accessories while you’re at GRIDLIFE Midwest Festival? Our partners at Advance Auto Parts have you covered.
